The Research Ethics section of the Research Support website provides information about ethical review of University of Oxford research. This is a requirement for all research involving human participants, in accordance with the University Policy on the Ethical Conduct of Research Involving Human Participants and Personal Data.

The Central University Research Ethics Committee (CUREC) has overall responsibility for the development of this policy, and for the University’s ethical review process.

Training is also available.
