SharePoint Online, part of the Nexus365 suite of tools, allows University members to create online workspaces in which to share ideas, have discussions, store data, access shared files, and so on. A SharePoint site can easily be shared with other University members; external members can also be added, with some limitations.
While primarily intended for use during the active phase of a project, SharePoint Online may sometimes also be used to store data for a limited period after a project concludes - for example, when sensitive data which cannot be shared openly needs to be preserved for a specified time to meet funder or other regulatory requirements.
