Nexus365 Teams

A messaging app and a digital hub for collaboration within a team, department, or project.

Microsoft Teams is provided as part of the Nexus365 suite of tools. A Team can be set up for a group of people who work together, to facilitate communication and file sharing. The Teams app can also be used to work with people across the wider University and beyond.

Teams can be used for text chat, online meetings, and audio or video calls. It is the University’s recommended platform for video calls with research participants: the University’s Information Security team has approved it as suitable for confidential material. (External users do not need a Microsoft account or the Teams app: it is possible to send them a link to a Teams meeting which can be accessed just using a browser.)
